The next-gen Tesla has been unveiled by Tesla Motors Inc., with a bump in the road ahead.
The new Model 3 sedan and Model S sedan will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) next week.
The new models, which will be the first to feature the all-new Autopilot feature, will be available in limited numbers, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in a statement today.
Musk said the Model 3 will be priced at $35,000, $50,000 and $75,000 depending on configuration.
The Model S will be slightly cheaper at $55,000 for the base model, and $70,000 on the Premium trim.
The sedan will also offer a $7,500 destination credit.
Musk also said the company will begin to ramp up production of the Model X SUV, which is now available.
Musk also said Tesla will begin offering an array of Model 3s at select dealerships across the U.S. in 2018, although he didn’t specify when that would happen.
